Vision

The Philippine-American Educational Foundation (PAEF) is the premier organization in the Philippines dedicated to advancing international education and exchange between the United States of America and the Philippines.

Mission

PAEF promotes the international exchange of knowledge, scholarship, and experiences by providing facilitative support to Filipino students and scholars through its EducationUSA Advising Center. The Center offers first-rate advising services to talented Filipinos who wish to explore post secondary educational opportunities in the United States of America. To serve Filipinos around the country PAEF collaborates with Philippine university partners that are also American Studies Resources Center (ASRC), volunteers, and other organizations in educational advising.

This center's mission -- to provide accurate, comprehensive, current, and unbiased information on educational opportunities in the United States -- is supported by the United States Department of State as indicated by the Mission Statement developed through the Educational Information and Resources Branch, Office of Global Educational Programs. PAEF is listed as one of over 450 State Department supported educational advising centers around the world.

Services

Our educational advising services and library resources are available to the public from Tuesday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 12 noon, and 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. If you intend to study, train, or do research in the U.S., we can assist you through the following services free of charge:

• Library usage
• Advising session (individual and group)
• Test bulletins (e.g., TOEFL, GRE, GMAT, TSE, SAT, USMLE)
• Relevant handouts on studying in the United States of America
• Library collection on study in the U.S. (for center use only)
• F-1 (student visa) application assistance

The following fee-based services are also available:

• Computer use (e.g., Internet connection, software usage, computer-based practice tests)
• Pre-Departure Orientation session
• Test reviewers
• Photocopying

If you want to be part of the Educational Advising Center's mailing list, please download the registration form and fax it back to PAEF (812-0822). This will allow us to update you on upcoming events and presentations and send you invitations to EAC activities. EAC will not divulge your private information with vendors or companies.

The Educational Advising Center is open Tuesdays to Fridays, except holidays, 9:00 am - 12:00nn & 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm.

PAEF - EAC collaborates with satellite advising centers located in and are part of the American Studies Resource Centers (ASRC) of seven leading universities across the Philippines.
